Love is dangerous
Too much Love is about the feeling of trees towards the flood occur in Delhi due to the water release from the Hathnikund barrage and many dams in upstream of Yamuna, along with the inability of urban stormwater drains to discharge water, have contributed to the flooding and about the EL Nino weather effect.
El Nino is associated with weakening monsoon winds and dry weather in India, the El Nino phenomenon, which causes warming of waters in the Pacific Ocean near South America, is one of the factors affecting the Indian monsoons and hence, agriculture in India (which directly impacts the Rabi crop). August had a deficit of rain with 30.7% below normal rainfall which made it worse for plants to properly grow roots.
The adverse impact of El Nino on Indian monsoons and agriculture highlights the need for measures to mitigate the effects of climate change. It is crucial to ensure that the management of water resources is sustainable and the infrastructure can handle extreme weather conditions.
As of September 11, 2023, it has been three months since the flood started and regions remain submerged, the Yamuna River in Delhi for many reasons has officially crossed the danger mark. Flooding has caused people to leave their homes and find refuge elsewhere.
All those trees are thinking despite predictions of less rain due to El Nino, excessive flooding still occurred in India. It is scary what water can do when there is too much of it in one area without any way to drain it away safely.
